After caring for my parents for more than 10 years and moving them from their home to a senior facility to skilled nursing homes several times, I understand the challenges in moving older adults and know it can be emotional, physically challenging and creates family stress with each move.
My background as a Project Manager gives me a unique advantage in strategic organization and reliability. I’ve worked in the public sector for most of my career, dedicated to working long hours and taking work home because I knew it ultimately made a difference in the lives of others. I learned from my colleagues along the way, from teachers, educators, public service workers, legislative policy advocates, and others that served with the same mission – to make a positive impact in the lives of others. I build networks of people, working together to meet a successful outcome.
I am a member of the National Association of Senior Move Management (NASSM) and adhere to a Code of Ethics and have completed the required Cornerstone Courses in the areas of Safety, Contracts and Liability, Ethics and Accountability, and Moving Industry. All members of NASSM must be insured and participate in ongoing professional training to work with older adults during transition for peace of mind.
I am known for being caring, organized, and reliable. Put simply, I get things done. I lead with a thoughtful and logical plan, bringing a calm and caring approach to organizing and downsizing. Soft Landing Transitions is unique in that I give older adults undivided attention as the single contact for the entire process, allowing them and their families to focus on the issues at hand during transitioning to a new living arrangement.
